Celebrating Customer Service Week

The food trucks continue to take place at Village Park Fields 2 and 3 with concerts taking place behind the gymnasium at field 2.  This event has moved to Saturday evenings. 

Opening Day for the Lakeside Market is scheduled for Friday, October 7th from 5pm to 9pm.  Sixty-eight vendors have submitted applications; any remaining interested vendors are being added to a waitlist.  Bobby G will be the musical performance on the opening night of the market.  The event will continue on Friday evenings.


The annual Fall Festival will take place on Saturday, October 15th from 3:00pm to 10:00pm at Village Park.

Wellington High School will be running a 5k event to benefit the Boys & Girls Cross Country team on Sunday, October 16th from 8:00am to 10:00am. The course will be at Wellington High School utilizing the super field.

On Friday, October 21st through Sunday, October 22nd a German-style Biergarten is back for a free 3-day event with the first day offered in conjunction with the Lakeside Market.

The USTA Family Championships will be held on Friday, October 28th through Sunday, October 30th.  Over 100 players from around the country are expected to be in Wellington for this event.  

A volleyball tournament will be held at Greenbriar Park on Saturday, October 29th with times to be determined.

The Murder Mystery Dinner theme will be "Murder on the Bayou" and will take place on Saturday, November 5th at Village Park. Tickets are on sale now at Village Park and the Community Center.

The Charlotte Hans Memorial Softball Tournament will be held on Saturday, November 5th at Village Park with times to be determined.

Spring Soccer signups begin on Saturday, November 5th, and Travel Basketball tryouts will be held on Sunday, November 6th in the Village Park gymnasium.

Planning/Programs/Events: 

Tutoring at Boys and Girls Club:  Tutoring at the Boys and Girls Club continued this week on Monday, October 2nd through Thursday, October 6th with the exception of Wednesday, October 5th (Yom Kippur).  Staff selected 10 students per group and a total of two (2) groups per day.  Approximately 60 students were provided homework assistance/tutoring last week.  
 
Wellington Elementary Tutoring Program: This program was delayed due to the effects of Hurricane Ian.  The new start date is TBD as we are awaiting receipt of the completed permission slips/documentation from the school.  Wellington Elementary has contacted all of the selected students for the program and parents have been informed that they are required to complete our provided paperwork to participate in the upcoming program.  The program will provide assistance to Wellington Elementary and the Boys and Girls Club by providing a location for this tutoring program and by providing transportation for 30 students from Wellington Elementary to the Boys and Girls Club. All of the students attend both the School and the Club. The program is expected to begin on October 3rd

Holiday Celebration Event Meeting: On Wednesday, October 5th, staff participated in a Zoom meeting to discuss the logistics of supplies, possible sponsors, and roles during the upcoming event.
 
Narcan Training:  On Wednesday, October 5th, staff attended a Narcan training session that included a discussion of safety measures to observe and how to react to drug overdoses.
 
SWAG Orientation Meeting:  On Thursday, October 6th, the first SWAG session of the school year was held over Zoom with Wellington High School and Palm Beach Central High School.  Students were introduced to our SWAG Mentors and given a presentation on the history of our SWAG Program.
 
Equestrian Trails Bike to School Event:  On Friday, October 7th, staff attended and participated in the Walk/Bike to School Event with the staff and students.
 
Super Fridays:   On Friday, October 7th, staff visited a local community park to engage local youth with games and activities.

Crossover Program:  On Saturday, October 1st, staff hosted the weekly basketball program at the Boys & Girls Club.  Approximately 30 participants are anticipated to engage in basketball activities.

Florida LGBTQ+ Liaison Summit:
The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, in partnership with the Florida LGBTQ+ community and the Village of Wellington, will host a “Meet and Greet” on Thursday, October 13th from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm in the Grand Ballroom of the Wellington Community Center.  The Meet and Greet is intended to welcome attendees from across the state to Wellington and offer a chance for attendees to interact in a relaxed, social setting. 

The first Florida LGBTQ+ Summit will be held from 8 am to 5 pm in the Wellington Community Center.  The Summit will feature guest speakers and breakout sessions throughout the day.  The event will provide an opportunity for allied local officials from across the State of Florida to connect and learn ways to engage the tools of local government to address the most pressing needs of their LGTBQ+ communities.  The evening will conclude with attendees enjoying the Lakeside Market from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Wellington High School Homecoming Parade: 
Wellington High School will host its annual Homecoming Parade on Friday, October 14th from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.  The parade will begin at Wellington Landings Middle School and travel to Wellington High School.  Public Works staff will work with PBSO to ensure a safe route for those participating.
 
Wellington’s Annual Fall Festival:
The Fall Festival returns in full format on Saturday, October 15th from 3 pm to 10 pm at Village Park.  The Haunted Hallways and face painting return this year to join two (2) costume contests, Laser Tag, Hayrides, Bounce Houses, Petting Zoo, and Trick-or-Treating in the Vendor’s Village. Pre-sale bracelet sales began on September 6th and will continue through October 14th. Prices will be $7 for youth (2-18) and $5 for adults (18 and over). Day of sales of bracelets will be $10 for youth and $5 for adults. Bracelets will be needed for all activities.  Free shuttles will run from the Mall at Wellington Green to Village Park throughout the event. 

Pop-Up Beer Gardens:
The Village will host two, three (3) day Autumn German-style Biergarten events featuring Hofbrauhas Bier from Munchen. In addition, German beer, US craft beer, and cider, along with sausage, pretzels, and other German-themed foods will be available for purchase. Traditional music and stein-hoisting contests will round out the free, family-friendly experience. The events will be held at the Town Center in the green space and pavilion near the newly-built playground, on the following dates and times:

The first Pop-Up Beer Garden will take place:

The Friday events will coincide with the Wellington Lakeside Market, which runs from October 7th, 2022 – February 24th, 2023.

Read for the Record:
The 2022 Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County and Jumpstart's Read for the Record will be held on Thursday, October 27th. The featured book is Nigel and the Moon by Gracey Zhang.  This year, Jumpstart will continue allowing the book to be presented virtually and in person.  Staff will contact the 16 participating Wellington schools, preschools, and learning centers that participated last year to schedule readings or virtual showings of the book to students.  Copies of the book will be given to each school in their choice of English and/or Spanish language versions.  Jumpstart's Read for the Record is a national campaign launched over a decade ago to address the educational inequalities that leave too many children unprepared for kindergarten.

FIP Championships Athlete Meet and Greet:
Wellington will host a “Meet and Greet” on the Promenade on Thursday, October 27th from 6pm to 9pm for the world-class athletes competing in the 2022 FIP World Polo Championships. The evening will include a DJ, Glow-Up performers, giveaways, interactive activities and more. Light food and refreshments will be served.  Council Members, USPA Board Members, dignitaries, the PBC Sports Commission as well as local business owners from the two (2) Chambers, will be invited to attend.

Tennis Center’s Father-Daughter Tournament Dinner:
The Wellington Tennis Center will host the Level-1 USTA National Family Clay Court Championships the weekend of October 28th through October 30th. There will be play in multiple divisions and will feature player parties and lunch. Wellington will host a special player’s dinner at the Tennis Center that Saturday evening, October 29th at 6:00 p.m. Food will be catered by Agliolios Italian Restaurant.
Operation “Straight Aero” - PBSO has developed a vehicle burglary and theft operational plan in response to the recent uptick.  The plan will not only curb the increase of such crime, but also apprehend and ensure successful prosecution for all responsible parties.

License Plate Reader assistance leads to arrests: 
  • Street Team, with the assistance of the LPR cameras, were able to arrest one of the suspects involved in recent vehicle burglaries at Village Park.
  • Street Team members were flagged through the LPR system by a vehicle driven by a suspect with an outstanding warrant for DUI.  Agents were alerted that the vehicle was in Wellington.  Agents located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop, finding drugs packaged for sale.  The case was cleared by arrest.
Stolen Vehicles: Two (2) reports.  Both incidents occurred in the Equestrian Club.  One victim has their locked Range Rover stolen with multiple items including an iPad.  The iPad was tracked to a location in Coconut Creek.  Another victim reported their black Porsche Cayenne, with the keys left inside, was stolen.  The vehicle was recovered by BSO in North Lauderdale.
 
Stolen Vehicle Recovery: A victim’s black Honda Pilot was recovered near Benoist Farms Road.  Four suspects in the case were located and arrested.

Golf Carts: One (1) incident involving a golf cart:
  • A traffic stop was conducted on a golf cart being operated by a juvenile.  The case was cleared with a verbal warning.  
Community Policing:  Officers were busy this week work to assist resident in the transitional neighborhoods.  Neighborhoods visited this week include Folkstone, Lily Court, Veronica Circle.  
 
The unit also assisting reaching out to the faith-based partners in Wellington to invite them to a Civilian Response to Active Shooter (C.R.A.S.E) training.  The training will be held on Thursday, October 20th in the Village Council Chambers starting at 6:30pm.
 
Emergency Management:
 
Tornado Recovery:  Public Works is coordinating for additional resources to assist with vegetative debris removal from areas of Wellington in Lakefield North, West and Meadow Wood that were impacted by the EF-1 (86-110mph) tornado on 9/27.  Services will conclude this week.
 
COVID-19 Testing
The Village of Wellington agreement with the testing sites is set to expire on December 31, 2022.  The Village is discussing extending the agreements.  Below is a summary of last week’s tests conducted and positivity rate:
Code Compliance

Binks Preserve Inspections UPDATE:   As previously reported, a meeting was held with the Binks Preserve HOA concerning parking enforcement and property maintenance issues.  Early AM and PM parking inspections were conducted in addition to RV storage and property maintenance inspections.  Twenty-four (24) violation notices for landscaping and property maintenance were issued.  Thirteen (13) parking warnings were issued.
 
Equestrian Walk:  A complaint from an Equestrian Walk resident was received concerning parking issues and particularly horse trailer parking.  Multiple inspections of the community have been conducted. One (1) instance of a vehicle parking on the lawn was observed and a notice was issued.  PBSO recently issued a parking ticket for a vehicle parked on the street in the evening.   Code Compliance and PBSO will continue to regularly monitor the community.

Planning and Zoning

Palm Beach Polo Tennis Facility and South Portion of North Course:  Applications for the project on these two properties, referred to as Farrell East and West, were submitted in late July. The applicant’s resubmittal to address review comments is pending. Public hearings will be scheduled once the applications are certified.
 
Kobosko’s Crossing Artificial Turf:  Kobosko’s Crossing was the catalyst for a zoning text amendment to allow artificial turf.  At the time, Kobosko’s was given a notice of violation with compliance pending based on the outcome of the amendment. Once the amendment was approved, Kobosko’s was required to submit a minor site plan amendment to correct their violation. The  application was recently submitted, determined to be insufficient, and is pending corrections.
 
Wellington Estates (aka Polo West):  Dr. Scott Swerdlin has submitted a Comprehensive Plan (Future Land Use Map) Amendment for the Polo West Golf Course property. The amendment is to change the property from Open Space-Recreation to Residential C (1-3 dwelling units per acre). An application for a Master Plan Amendment is expected to be submitted in the near future. The latest proposed concept plan illustrates 105 single family lots on the 150 acre site. The final total number of units/lots proposed may be reduced.
 
Food Drive @ Seacoast Bank: Seacoast Bank, located at Wellington Country Plaza, submitted a community event permit to host a Thanksgiving food drive on Thursday, November 17, 2022.
 
977 Cindy Drive: The request to convert a 0.23 acre lot in Palm Beach Little Ranches from Open Space Recreation to Residential was recommended for denial by the Equestrian Preserve Committee on October 6, 2022.  The request will proceed to the Planning, Zoning, and Adjustment Board (PZAB) in November and then Council in December for a final action.

Strategic Planning
 
SR 7 Corridor Study, Phase 3:  The final report draft has been submitted and is being reviewed.  Direction will be provided to the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council (TCRPC) on any potential changes prior to finalizing. Once the report is finalized, TCRPC and the project team will be scheduled for a presentation to Council. This may be incorporated into the December Directions update presentations.
Planning, Zoning & Building
OPERATIONS HIGHLIGHTS
  • The Department ends the fiscal year with higher monthly water and wastewater consumption fee revenue than last year, up 2% and 3% respectively.
  • The Department ends the fiscal year significantly under budget, spending $899k less than the $15.8M plan with higher water and wastewater revenue than last year.
  • All Divisions within the Department held a manager's lunch meeting to discuss current activities within the Department.  Overall the meeting was well received with full participation.  We are planning to make these meetings a regular occurrence. 
  • No disconnects were performed last week.  Department is re-commencing disconnects this week.
  • Current meter No Reads are at 649.  Battery failures are occurring at a slower pace after our recent mass endpoint replacement program.   
  • The Department hosted a two (2) day training session focused on SCADA and PLC systems.  Basic training to increase knowledge and awareness was provided for Plant Maintenance and Technology Services staff.  Advanced training was also provided to senior managers and decision makers to raise awareness of how to respond to threat events and cyber attacks.
  • Utility GIS is preparing to rollout our new As-Built iPad tool using Fieldwire.  Once all staff have the program installed the Department will commence staff training.  
  • WTP demands are slightly below where they were this time last year

CIP PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
  • The following projects are in active state of construction. Major weekly milestones are as follows:
    • Florida Design Contractors - HPP8 and Post Treatment Improvement Project –The contractor is developing a price for additional minor work on the degas system and additional painting upgrades. This project is substantially complete.
    • Hinterland - Lift Station Phase II Rehab – Contractor is installing backordered spool pieces this week on all four lift stations. This project is substantially complete.
    • Wharton Smith - WTP R & R Project – Contractor completed electrical rewiring of MCC for HSP 16, and will complete the new wire install at PP2 this week. Finishing work and painting continues in the High Service Pump Building. The contractor has reported some backordered finishing items on the project which may delay completion.  
    • WRF Generator Improvements and PLC Replacement Project –  Duct bank installation expected to resume this week.
    • Well Rehab Phase 4—Well R4 vibration issues have been resolved. Contractor is mobilizing to Well 9, pending successful completion of bacteriological testing at Well 4.   
    • Booster Station and HSP Improvements Phase 1—Contractor completed first coat to Booster station 2 ground storage tank dome roof and completed exterior crack repairs. Booster 2 Tank shutdown scheduled for October 19th. Submittals for this project are under review.
    • Train 8 Expansion—Train 6 and 7 piping modification planned for week of October 24th.

Construction Projects

Town Center:
Phase 1 of the project is completed. 

Phase 2 of the project has commenced and is underway.  The Amphitheater and Scott’s Place are closed to the public and will remain so for the duration of the project.  The final substantial completion date is scheduled for April 5th, 2023.

Aero Club Landscaping: 
Construction continues for this project.  Currently the contractor is installing the secondary irrigation system.  We expect plantings to commence the week of October 11th and continue for two weeks.  The contractor has missed the substantial completion deadline for this project of September 7th, 2022.  Engineering staff is working diligently with the contractor to assist them with completing the project as quickly as possible.

Golf Cart Pathway Expansion (Pierson Road, between Birkdale and Stribling):

Greenview Shores Park Safety Netting: 
The contractor is prepared to begin work once they have obtained security clearance to work on the site.  

ACME Culvert 130 Refurbishment: 
This project was approved at the October 11th Council meeting.  Village Council asked that we coordinate closely with the Palm Beach Polo POA.  The POA requested that we wait until May 1st, 2023 to begin the project so as to not interfere with seasonal activities in the neighborhood.  We agreed to check with the contractor about holding their price until then and would advise accordingly.

Design Projects

Big Blue Trace Landscaping and Traffic Calming (South Shore Blvd. to Paddock): 
This project includes the installation of traffic calming features, landscaping, and irrigation along Big Blue Trace between South Shore Boulevard and Paddock Drive. 
Status:  Design phase. 

Public Works Storage Building: 
This project will facilitate the storage needs for the Public Works Department, with the anticipated demolition of the Old Boys and Girls Club at the South Shore Community Park.  The proposed building will be a 10,000sf pre-fabricated structure.  The Engineering department is currently working on a performance specification and site plan for the building at the Public Works Facility.  The Engineering Department has completed 60% design plans for this effort to date.
Status:  Design phase. 

Greenbriar Park Restrooms: 
This project consists of a new restroom building at the Greenbriar Park Facility.  The current facility has reached its useful life and is in disrepair.  The current facility is also on septic drainfield facilities.  This project will also include permanent sanitary sewer facilities, which the current facility does not have.  The Engineering Department has completed 60% design plans for this effort to date.
Status:  Design phase. 

Greenbriar Park Disc Golf Study: 
This project consists of a nine hole disc (Frisbee) golf facility to be incorporated into Greenbriar Park.  The engineering department will be working directly with Jake Hampu, Founder of the Unified Dream Organization to prepare a conceptual disc golf course layout within the open field area of Greenbriar Park. 
Status:  Conceptual Design phase. 

Greenbriar Park Pickle Ball Courts: 
This project includes outdoor pickle ball courts adjacent to the existing Volleyball Courts at the Greenbriar Park facility.  This project is currently in the conceptual phase.   
Status:  Conceptual Design phase. 

50th Street Assessment Project: 
This project includes construction of a 2-lane asphalt roadway along 50th street, between Ousley Farms Road and South Road.  Engineering is currently managing the design and assessment reporting for this project.  Currently, Mock Roos is preparing the final construction plans.  We expect completion of these plans by November 30th.  
Status:  Final Design phase. 

PBSO Substation Needs Analysis and Preliminary Site Plan: 
This project includes a facility needs assessment, and a preliminary site plan analysis for the construction of a new PBSO substation at Town Center.  Leo Daly has completed the needs analysis portion of the project.  Next they will be developing a conceptual site plan for a facility at the Town Center property.  We anticipate this being completed by November 15th
Status:  Preliminary Planning phase. 

PBSO Existing Building Assessment: 
This project consist of the inspection of the current PBSO substation at 14000 Greenbriar Boulevard.  The engineering department is preparing a building hardening recommendation and report for this building.  This report will be available by the end of October.
Status:  Analysis phase. 

Tennis Center Expansion (Master Plan):
This project consists of the planning of the ultimate buildout of the tennis center at 3100 Lyons Rd.  Mock Roos has prepared preliminary plans and cost estimate to support this effort.   
Status:  On Hold

ACME Stormwater Modeling: 
Staff is working in coordination with Mock Roos to develop an updated stormwater model, utilizing the latest version of the ICPR (Inter-Connected Pond Routing) software.
Status:  Final Report due in November.

ACME Big Blue Preserve Pump Station: 
This project consists of the refurbishment of the pump station for the Big Blue Cypress Preserve.  Engineering is coordinating with public works to move the existing pump station into ACME right of way.  The pump station currently lies within an easement, outside of ACME right of way.  Engineering has prepared construction drawings for this project and is currently obtaining quotes from our annual contractors to procure the work.  
Status:  Procurement Phase

ACME Culvert 130 Refurbishment: 
This project consist of the refurbishment of an existing major stormwater culvert along the C-7 Canal.  The culvert is within the Palm Beach Polo Subdivision and an ACME easement.  Engineering will coordinate closely with the Palm Beach Polo POA to minimize the disruption to the neighborhood.  This project is scheduled to appear before Council on November 9th.  
Status:  Procurement Phase

C-2 Multipurpose Pathway: 
This project consist of the construction of a 10ft wide pathway along the C-2 Canal, between Greenview Shores Blvd. and Bent Creek Road.  Engineering has ordered a survey for this project and will commence the design in FY2023.  
Status:  Design phase. 

C-8 Multipurpose Pathway: 
This project consists of the construction of a 10ft wide pathway along the C-8 Canal, between Stribling Way and Forest Hill Blvd.  Engineering has ordered a survey for this project and will commence the design in FY2023.  
Status:  Design phase. 

Greenview Shores Bike Lanes:
This project includes the addition of traffic calming features and bicycle lanes along Greenview Shores Blvd. between Binks Forest Drive and Wellington Trace. 
Status:  Design phase. 

Greenbriar Boulevard Bike Lanes:
This project includes the addition of traffic calming features and bicycle lanes along Greenbriar Blvd. between Aero Club Drive and Greenview Shores Blvd. 
Status:  Design phase. 

Wellington Trace & Primrose Lane Traffic Calming: 
This project includes the addition of a Mini Round-a-bout at the intersection of Primrose Lane and Wellington Trace.  This project is scheduled to appear before Council on November 9th.   
Status:  Procurement phase. 

Wellington Trace/Big Blue Trace: 
This project includes the addition of permissive only left turn lane arrows along the Wellington Trace approaches to Big Blue Trace (N/S).  This project also includes the extension of the southbound left turn lane to accommodate the additional vehicle storage needed for the protected turn movement.  Engineering is currently working with PBC Traffic to obtain quotes for the placement of permissive only signals at the intersection.  Engineering has also prepared a design for the expansion of the existing westbound left turn lane to accommodate the additional queuing that is projected due to the permissive only turn lanes.  This portion of the project will be completed with annual contractors.
Status:  Procurement phase. 

Appaloosa Bridle Trail: 
This project consists of drainage improvements for the public Bridle Trail between Appaloosa Trail and Greenbriar Boulevard within the Saddle Trail South Subdivision.  A survey has been obtained for the project and Engineering is currently preparing design plans and cost estimates suitable for bidding and construction.
Status:  Design phase. 

Welcome Sign / Southern Blvd.: 
This project consists of adding a “Welcome to Wellington” sign on the NW corner of the Municipal Boundary, which is generally at the Flying Cow/Southern Boulevard intersection.  An AT was transmitted on 08/23/2022 regarding the specifics for this project.

Traffic Studies / Issues

Traffic Calming/Vision Zero:  Engineering is coordinating the implementation of Vision Zero Resolution 2022-15 and the Complete Streets Resolution 2022-16.  The Village has applied for a "Safe Streets for All" (SS4A) grant for funding to prepare a Village-wide traffic calming study.  Once this study has been completed we will begin to apply for grant funds for specific traffic calming projects.

Private Utilities
The Engineering Department continues to monitor construction and assist residents with damage claims as needed.  Currently we are seeing substantial construction activity in the Sugar Pond Manor area with improvements being made to the AT&T infrastructure.
Environmental Services, Neighborhood Parks & Equestrian Trails
  • Continue to service residents with scheduled mosquito spraying and bee removal requests.
  • Installed two (2) new equestrian signs along the Red Trail.
  • Completed trail maintenance (dragged and box-bladed) along the Appaloosa Trail, Bridle Path, and Dark Brown Trail.
  • Cleaned up storm debris, Village wide.
  • Repaired damaged shade structure (Hurricane Ian) at Tiger Shark Cove Park.
  • Treated various areas for mosquitos at Greenbriar Park (Dog Park), Rustic Ranches, and along Flying Cow Road.
Landscape Maintenance & Nuisance Abatement
  • Cleaned up storm debris, Village wide.
  • Completed trimming various palm trees along South Shore Boulevard.
  • Straightened and staked leaning trees, Village wide.
  • Completed irrigation repairs at the Wellington Landings wall and Wellington Community Center.
Building Maintenance
  • Replaced various lighting fixtures at Village Park.
  • Installed new television at Community Services.
  • Completed various building maintenance repairs at the Aquatics Center, Boys & Girls Club, Community Park, and Village Hall.
  • LanCorp Services completed pressure cleaning the roof at the Aquatics Center and continue to pressure clean the roof at the Amphitheater.
  • Competent Roofing began roof repairs at Lake Wellington Professional Centre.
  • Began preparations for Hurricane Ian.
  • Completed damage assessment following Hurricane Ian on facilities, Village wide.
  • Cleaned up storm debris, Village wide.
Roads & Roadside Refuse
  • Began preparations for Hurricane Ian.
  • Cleaned up storm debris, Village wide.
  • Installed asphalt to correct drop-offs along Paddock Drive and Squire Drive.
  • The sign shop continues creating signs for replacing damaged signs and fulfilling various department requests, as needed.
Surface Water Management & Preserve Maintenance
  • Cleaned debris from various canal ends and pump stations, Village wide.
  • Murray Logan completed installation of rip-rap along the C-2 Canal.
Aquatics and Sport Facilities
  • Continue with daily maintenance of pool pumps at the Aquatics Center.
  • Continue with daily inspections at the Aquatics Center and Tennis Center.
  • Continue with daily athletic field mowing and maintenance on all fields, Village wide.
  • Continue maintaining turf at the Amphitheater and Patriot Memorial.
  • Continued building the Haunted House for the Fall Festival.
  • Continue installing electricity in the Chemical Shed.
  • Replaced the Grit pump in the pool at the Aquatics Center.
  • Cleaned up storm debris, Village wide.
Custodial Services
  • Continue cleaning and sanitizing facilities, Village wide.
OFMB
Delinquent Utility Accounts: There were 0 disconnects scheduled for the week ending September 30, 2022. 
 
Purchasing
Bids/RFPs/RFQs:
  • RFQ 202214 - Architectural and Engineering Services for the Construction of an Aquatics Facility – Authorization to Negotiate was presented at the September 6th Council meeting.  A negotiation session was held on September 15th.  Contract award consideration is scheduled to be presented at the November 9th Council meeting.    
A cone of silence is in effect for the RFQ listed above.  All questions or concerns regarding any such solicitations should be directed to the Purchasing Department.

Audit
Staff is working with Grau & Associates onsite to begin the annual audit for the year ending September 30, 2022.
