Seahawk Safety Week encourages health and community at UNCW
UNCW's annual Seahawk Safety Week is coming to campus on Sept. 26. It will host a variety of events that aim to educate students on topics ranging from healthy relationships to Title IX compliance.
"Several departments will be hosting workshops and presentations throughout the week," said Sloane Abell, a UNCW Title IX Investigator. The topic variety will range from mental safety and wellness, environmental effects of pollution, and physical safety like relationships, active attacker training and internet security.

GREENSBORO, North Carolina – On Sunday, the Seahawk women's soccer team routed the UNC Greensboro Spartans 5-1.
The offensive explosion came in the second half, fueled by three Madison Henry goals, marking only the 8th hat trick in UNCW women's soccer history. The junior from China Grove, NC also had an assist, which led to the first UNCW seven-point game in seven seasons.

Whether or not we are neurotypical, we each have an inherent desire for convenience. However, UNCW's campus is fundamentally designed for the convenience of neurotypical students. As a result, neurodivergent students deal with a number of challenges on campus. As a person with cerebral palsy, there are many inconveniences that I have struggled with, and continue to struggle with, while navigating around UNCW's campus.

As viewers will come to see, very quickly.
