“Woe also to you scholars of the law!
You impose on people burdens hard to carry,
but you yourselves do not lift one finger to touch them.”
“¡Ay de ustedes también, doctores de la ley, porque abruman a la gente con cargas insoportables, pero ustedes no las tocan ni con la punta del dedo!”

KOC Cleans Up Prayer Garden

On Saturday, Sept 24th, the Knights of Columbus, along with several parish teens, helped clean up and refresh the prayer garden area behind the church. This is a great meditation area to sit and reflect and pray. Donations by Joan Luft provided the materials, and the Knights and teens provided the energy to get it done.

Thanks to all that supported the project!
Thank you for your continued support of the SVdP food pantry.  This month we are in need of rice, box dry potatoes, and canned tuna/meats. Please place them in the red wagon as you enter the church.

Thank you,
St Vincent de Paul Ministry

CCW will collect items for ‘Box of Joy’ on the weekends of Oct 15/16 and 22/23.  Items needed include small toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and accessories. See the flyer for more information and details as to what to donate.

Pope Francis's October Prayer Intention

For a Church open to everyone. We pray for the Church; ever faithful to, and courageous in preaching the Gospel, may the Church be a community of solidarity, fraternity, and welcome, always living in an atmosphere of synodality.
Por una Iglesia abierta a todos. Recemos para que la Iglesia fiel al Evangelio y valiente en su anuncio, viva cada vez más la sinodalidad y sea un lugar de solidaridad, fraternidad y acogida.
