Entries Sought for Gingerbread Competition at Chateau de Morès State Historic Site
MEDORA, N.D. – Entries are being accepted for the Fourth Annual Gingerbread Competition at the Chateau de Morès State Historic Site. Entry forms are due Wednesday, Nov. 12, by 5 p.m. MT. The competition is open to ages 5 and older and will showcase gingerbread creations in the following categories: Kids 5-12; Teens 13-17; Adults 18 and up; and teams of two or more.
Gingerbread creations are due Thursday, Dec. 1, by 4 p.m. and will be on display Dec. 2-Jan. 13 at the Chateau Interpretive Center. Vote for People’s Choice awards Dec. 2-4, either in person at the Interpretive Center, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., or anytime on Facebook.com/ChateauDeMores. Winners will be announced on Facebook Dec. 4 at 3:30 p.m. MT.

The Chateau de Morès site and Interpretive Center near Medora is managed by the State Historical Society of North Dakota. It is open Tuesday-Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. MT.
