CHURCH BUSINESS MEETING IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING SUNDAY'S SERVICE

We will have a short Church Business Meeting immediately following our Worship Service on Sunday morning to vote on our interim pastor. Church members are encouraged to make plans to stay for the meeting.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
FOR GAITHER CONCERT

On Thursday, November 17th, the Gaither Vocal Band will perform at Trinity Baptist Church. We are currently looking for volunteers to serve in various roles (ushers, ticket takers, box office sales, merchandise table, load-in crew, load-out crew, security team). Please TXT or call Tammy Waters at 903-293-2617 if you would like to serve as a volunteer.

Our Trunk-or-Treat event will take place two weeks from Sunday, on October 30th. We have only received 17% of the candy donations needed to support the event.
Did you know...
- ...we anticipate having around 40 trunks decorated at the event?
- ...we anticipate having around 2000 kids stop by that night?
- ...if each kid receives 2 pieces of candy at each trunk, we will go through 160,000 pieces of candy?
Currently we have 27,856 pieces of candy to give out of the estimated 160,000 pieces of candy needed to make the event successful.
Help us with our candy drive by donating bags of candy. They can be left in the bins beside each church entrance or dropped off at the church office.

Join us for food and fellowship prior to the start of Grow Classes.
Time: 5:00 p.m. to 5:50 p.m.
Cost: $5 per person
Maximum $20 per family.

CHILI COOK-OFF THIS SUNDAY
|
|
|
The Deacons will be hosting a Church Chili Cook-Off Fundraiser for Operation Christmas Child on Sunday, October 16 beginning at 5:00 p.m.
Make plans to join us for an evening of fellowship. You can participate in the following ways:
● Enter a pot of chili into the contest
● Vote on the best chili
Everyone will be able to 'cast their vote' for their favorite chili by placing money in a jar. The chili receiving the largest amount of money wins! All proceeds go to support Operation Christmas Child.
Card games and dominoes will be setup on tables, and the Trinity Kids Ministry is setting up a special game area for children.
If you will be bringing chili, please sign up or let the church office know by Thursday, October 13. This will help us ensure we have plenty chili for the event.

Our October "Mission of the Month" is Operation Christmas Child. There are several ways you can help this month. Ideas include:
● Pray for the mission
● Pack a box (or multiple boxes)
● Donate toys towards a box
● Volunteer to help pack boxes
● Donate money via our Church App

Our Junior High Ministry team is currently putting together a mission team to serve with Mission Arlington. Students will be serving with the Apartment Ministry team in sharing Jesus with the apartments under their care. The group will leave for Arlington, Texas on Friday, November 18th and return the night of Monday, November 21st. Cost to attend is $75 per person.
