Vulkanised 2023 is coming to Munich!
Vulkanised is delighted to be back in person! The largest event dedicated to 3D developers using the Vulkan API will take place in the beautiful city of Munich, Germany on Feb 7-9, 2023. Vulkanised is a unique technical event that brings the Vulkan developer community together to exchange ideas, solve problems and help steer the future development of the Vulkan API and ecosystem.
The public Call for Submissions from the Vulkan developer community is now open and will close Friday, November 4 at 11:59pm AOE.

Updates from the First 60 Days of the Metaverse Standards Forum
Early in the Summer, following an initiative inspired by Neil Trevett, Patrick Cozzi and Marc Petit, 37 founding member companies, standards development organizations (SDOs), and industry associations joined together to launch the Metaverse Standards Forum — a venue to cooperate and coordinate on building a pervasive, open, and inclusive metaverse at global scale.
The forum now has over 1800 members and in the first 60 days has been busy establishing working groups to execute projects focused on solving key metaverse interoperability issues.

OpenCL 3.0.12 Released With Command Buffers Mutable Dispatch Extension and Enhanced Layers Support
The OpenCL 3.0 specification and OpenCL SDK for heterogeneous parallel computation are regularly updated with bug fixes, improved documentation, and functional enhancements. The OpenCL 3.0.12 maintenance release on 15 September 2022, included significant new functionality: Command Buffer Enhancements and System Layers support in the Khronos OpenCL ICD Loader.
