RSM/Youth Ministry

This term we will be looking at the Canon of Scripture, Church history, the tenets of the Reformation, and do Spiritual gifts assessments and consider application.
The class is intended for young Christians grades 6,7 & 8 and any folks who would like to attend. (There are other adults attending.) Please speak with Larry Lang if you have any questions.

Fall Events:
Middle School Fall Retreat (November 4-6) Deadline to register is October 19.
High School Fall Retreat (November 18-20) Deadline to register is November 2.
Both retreats will be held at Covenant Cedars Bible Camp in Hordville, NE. We will plan on leaving shortly after they get out of school. Parents check your email for more details.

Free Oil Change for Families in Need on October 15 at Christian Brothers AutomotiveDo you know a single mom/widow/family in need that could benefit from a FREE oil change? If so, have them call Tammie Green at 913-422-1200 to schedule a FREE oil change on Saturday, October 15 at Christian Brothers Automotive in Shawnee. They will need to provide their name, phone number, Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) so Christian Brothers Automotive can get the correct oil and oil filter for their vehicle. Limited space so call now.

Easy Ways to Help the BLESS MY HOME COFFEEHOUSE FUNDRAISER
We need to borrow the following items:
1. 3-4 large coffee urns or pump service coffee thermoses
2. 4-6 insulated carafes for cream and milk
3. Medium/large cooler for ice (we will need ice too BTW)

Bring your best recipe baked good for the buffet. Cookies, cakes, pies, maybe even some savory appetizers…..Signup sheet is on the Welcome Table.
