Write The Vision
10/4/22

Article by Joni Ames

(2) Then the Lord answered me and said:
“Write the vision
And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it.
(3) For the vision is yet for an appointed time;
But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it;
Because it will surely come,
It will not tarry.
(Habakkuk 2:2-3)

Those who write their vision or goals, will achieve them. Those who do not will not. Writing it down brings you and heaven into agreement and accountability. It sets things in motion right now. It gives you a trackable record of God working in your life - and of your obedience.

“Thus speaks the Lord God of Israel, saying: ‘Write in a book for yourself all the words that I have spoken to you.” (Jeremiah 30:2)

Writing down what you say to God, and what He says to you is a powerful way of reminding yourself of His love and of His loving plans for you.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

Tonight is Yom Kippur, or the Day of Atonement, on the Jewish calendar. It’s a focus on atonement and repentance to God for our sins; and a sealing of our destiny for the coming year.

It’s a good time to write down your thoughts and desires for the new year. Also, to record any dreams you have recently had or have tonight.

May it be a wonderful year ahead for you. God bless!

Love & blessings,
Joni
