Grounded
From Oct. 19 to 22, It Is Written will present Grounded, a revival series focused on leading viewers into a deeper, more meaningful relationship with God. Presented by John Bradshaw, speaker/director of It Is Written, Grounded will broadcast live from Knoxville, Tennessee and air on It Is Written TV, 3ABN, Facebook, and YouTube. Churches and small groups are encouraged to sign up to stream the series.

October is Pastor Appreciation Month. Being a pastor is a difficult profession with great responsibility. Not only are they the spiritual leader of the church, but of their homes as well. Each week they write sermons, attend meetings (church board, school board, ministry outreach, prayer meeting, vespers), help at the local school, visit/call parishioners, and more! When there is a problem, the pastor is one of the first to receive the call. We rely on them to solve the problems of the church and lean on them in difficult personal situations, but do we remember to thank them for their leadership and support? October is a great time for your church family to let your pastor know how much they are appreciated!

Merbok Relief Effort Update
Thank you to our church family who helped those effected by the typhoon that impacted western Alaska in September. Because of your prayers, donations and financial support, Arctic Missions and Adventist Community Services had opportunity to be the Hands and Feet of Jesus in Alaskan communities.
