About We the Young People: Moments of Truth
8 million young people are newly eligible to vote in the 2022 U.S. midterms, which are taking place in fewer than 40 days. New data shows this group is notably more diverse than the rest of the electorate, and they could have a decisive impact in the elections.*
Hosted by SRL teen reporters Tiffany Rodriguez of Philadelphia & Berto Suarez of Rockville, Maryland, viewers will hear stories from young people about:
- student debt relief,
- election workers facing new pressures,
- the campaign to expand voting to 16 year-olds,
- civics explainers,
- how to avoid misinformation.
