WestStar hosted our annual FutureStar Youth Summit at UT Martin on September 13th with forty 8th grade students from five counties being represented!  This was for the east side of West Tennessee region.  The west side of the region is scheduled for April 11, 2023. Such a great group of future leaders of West Tennessee!
Our WestStar Weakley County alumni met on September 14th, with guest speaker, Steve Vantrease, Executive Director, NRMI.   Joseph Frazier also spoke to the group about his experience with the program and UT Martin.  We appreciate all of your hard work and dedication to WestStar Leadership Program!  Thanks to NRMI for sponsoring lunch.
Haywood and Tipton Counties had a great turn out for their county meetings!  WestStar appreciates your dedication to the program!
Shelby County hosted a wonderful Mini Session on September 26th.  We had a great turn out and great speakers!  A special thank you to Cary Vaughn and all the Shelby County alums who helped plan the event!
WestTeach Class of 2022 had a great session in Jackson!  The day was full of learning about "The Humanity of Leadership".  A huge thank you to all of our speakers!  
EAST SIDE Counties - Vaughn RisingStar Youth Summit will be held on November 3-4, 2022 at UT Martin!  Information is being sent to all guidance counselors now!  The cost is $120 per student.

- Invoices for alumni association dues were sent out on August 5, 2022.  We understand that times are busy, so we will be sending  a second reminder out this month.  They cover 2022-2023 year (July 1 - June 30)   We accept credit card payments (see below).  Last year,  we surpassed our goal by having 57% membership participation.  Let's do it again for this coming year!  WAY TO GO ALUMNI!!!!!
