The USCCB is taking up a special collection to support those impacted by hurricane Ian.
"To respond as a unified Church, I suggest we take up a voluntary special collection for the humanitarian, long- term recovery, and significant Church needs arising from Hurricane Ian. Together we will make a special appeal at our parishes to support the USCCB Bishops Emergency Disaster Fund. I ask that we each take up a collection as soon as possible so that those most in need can receive assistance quickly. "

Please remit all proceeds from this special collection no later than November 7th, with a check made out to CCAS with Hurricane Ian on the memo line, sent to Archdiocese of Seattle, Attn: Annual Campaigns Office, 710 9th Ave., Seattle, WA 98104. Please remember that individual donations should be processed by the parish before the final check is sent.
