ALL SAINTS DAY
November 1, 2022
SHC celebrates the Solemnity of All Saints on Tuesday, November 1. The school liturgy commemorates the Catholic Church’s recognition of individuals whose lives serve as an inspiration for discipleship in Jesus Christ. Saints can be called upon to intercede on our behalf, join us in our prayers, in addition to helping us as “patrons” of particular areas of life. For example, St. John Baptist De La Salle is the patron saint of educators, St. Elizabeth Seton is the patron of Catholic Schools, St. Vincent de Paul is patron of charitable societies, and St. Louise de Marillac is the patron saint of sick people, widows, orphans, and social workers. We look forward to venerating All Saints in our communal celebration of liturgy.
