Prayer Meeting at Grace Fellowship
The next prayer meeting at Grace Fellowship is
tomorrow (Friday 14 October) at 8.00pm as we continue to pray and seek God's guidance for the way forward at Grace Fellowship.
You are invited to join us in an evening of prayer at All Saints Church, Huntingdon next Tuesday (18 October), 7.30 – 8.30pm for the Thrive Youth Work project in Huntingdon.
Our evening together will involve giving thanks for the work that God has been doing in Huntingdon through the Thrive project, and praying for our programmes, team and volunteers, and the future of Thrive as we look forward into 2023. We will also have some ‘Youth Café style’ refreshments, and a short time of worship.
On Friday 21 October we will be launching a new initiative at GBC called INSPIRE.
INSPIRE offers a CREATIVE SPACE for adults to SHARE PROJECTS – LEARN SKILLS – EXPLORE IDEAS
Invite friends/ neighbours or come along yourself anytime between 10am and 12 noon. Get stuck into all things creative, while enjoying friendship, chat, and refreshments!

You can:
  • Bring a craft, artistic hobby, or project you are already working on, to continue and informally share with others around the table. We can accommodate most mediums – paint, clay, material, paper, wood, glass etc, OR
  • Learn some new skills. Each week we will have a demonstration and the opportunity to try a new craft. No experience needed, just have a go, OR
  • Explore your creative side freely using different mediums that are provided. There’s no anticipated outcome – enjoy experimenting and see what results!
INSPIRE will run every Friday morning from 21 October to 25 November. £2 per session (although there may be a small additional charge for some projects). All are very welcome – any questions please speak to Stephanie Brown, Dorne Burdett or Carolyn Keats. We would be pleased to hear from anyone with artistic flair who could demonstrate a craft or help on the team. Thank you
Deeper is an opportunity to be open to the Holy Spirit in worship, sharing together and ministering to each other, in an informal and relaxed way. The next one will be at 7.00pm on Sunday 23 October. All are welcome.
Pumpkin Heroes Party

On Sunday 30 October at 7.00pm Generation Rising are hosting ‘Secret Church’.  All welcome!
Warm Space
We are planning on hosting a ‘warm space’ each Thursday, 10am-2pm from 3 November - 23 February. This will be a safe and relaxed space for people from the community to come that will be warm. We will provide simple refreshments, hot drinks and toast. If you would be able to be part of a team of people to host this space, maybe every week, maybe for part of the time, please let Daniel know.
Christmas Shoeboxes
We are very grateful for all the donations towards the Christmas shoeboxes for Romania. We now need some help with packing the shoeboxes. If you are able to help, please let Carolyn know. Thank you.
University Students
Generation Rising young people are putting together some care packages for those who are now at university. Any donations of biscuits, chocolates etc would be gratefully received.
First Aid Training
We need some more First Aiders. We will be arranging a training course for this. If this is something you would be interested in, please speak to Daniel. The day and time for any course will be arranged based on people's availability.
CAP Money Course
Christ Church in Huntingdon is running a 4-week CAP Money Course at the Coneygear Centre in Huntingdon, starting next Monday (17 October) at 7.30pm.

The CAP Money Course is a free money management course that teaches people budgeting skills and a simple, cash-based system that really works. This course will help anyone to get more in control of their finances, so they can budget, save and prevent debt. People can sign up via the CAP website.
Rehoboth Rendezvous - A Date for your Diary
The next Rehoboth Rendezvous, which this year will be a "Christmas Craft Cafe", is planned for 3.00pm-5.00pm on Saturday 10 December at GBC.
