IPL (photo-facials) takes care of red and brown spots. Not a lot on the market takes care of these very well, although our newest technology significantly diminishes red vessels, redness with rosacea, and brown spots. The new machine can accommodate almost all skin types. YAY!

We upgraded to this machine because, in our area, we have people of all different ethnicities with brown spots and red facial blood vessels that bother them. It wasn’t fair that our old technology only offered the service to people with light skin, so we wanted to expand to something that could accommodate people with darker skin types. Typically this has been the restriction for most of these machines in the past, and now the science has advanced that we can take care of most skin types!

I have struggled with chronic red and brown spots, and although I realize that this is a condition like diabetes (one that does not go away and will be a chronic issue for me), I control my pigment and keep it at bay with lasers like the IPL. Thank goodness for ever-evolving science!
