Buy Tickets Now!

Have you heard the names McIntyre, Ramboz, Lubin, or Blakeslee? The Conifer Historical Society will be presenting on the history behind the Midway House and former Meyer Ranch property (now owned by Jefferson County Open Space).  After the presentation, there will be a random drawing for an exclusive SAME DAY FREE TOUR** of the former Meyer Ranch, provided by a Jeffco Open Space Interpretive Ranger who will share more on the history and the people who lived there. We are also delighted to welcome back our friends from Druid Paranormal on the tour, to look into WHO  may have been left behind… 👻

Online Book Club: Castle Rock and the KKK
RSVP For Link!

Join us October 25th at 6:30pm to discuss Castle Rock and the Ku Klux Klan, by Todd Lowther. Historical Fiction.   When McKinley Casperson, fun-loving promoter and bachelor, meets Lillian Prichard on the funicular railroad he operates on Castle Rock (Colorado), he cannot imagine that one day this spirited beauty will tangle with the Ku Klux Klan. When the family disengages with the Klan movement, one brother, who may have gotten in too deeply, winds up as a cold case in one of the state's most notorious unsolved murders.
