As I reflect on the topic of abundance during the current series on prosperity, I realize more and more how rich CSL Carlsbad really is! Rich in people and relationships and kindness shared.
I just want to give a special thanks to everyone who comes and shares and cares to be together, and to all our volunteers and supporters everywhere. You make our Center so very Special!

Affirmation:

THIS WEEK AT CSL CARLSBAD....
In the book, Spiritual Economics, Eric Butterworth writes, "If we plan and conserve and keep our thoughts centered in God as our limitless resource of good, then our way will be filled with success and fulfillment."
We know from Science of Mind that what we think on, we create more of. What you hold in mind tends to manifest in your life. To be successful and fulfilled, keep your faith in the continuity of God's ever-present substance, no matter what the stock market looks like or the rate of inflation. Don't get into fear, because what you think about, you bring about.
The source of your supply is not your job, or your bank account or your house, but it is in your oneness with the Allness of Infinite Mind. Butterworth also says, "the right attitude toward money is a root of all kinds of prosperity." Money is God in action. It is a creative flow of divine activity. "Current" is another name for the flow of good in our lives, hence, "currency" is the current of divine resource. Money is a wonderful symbol of God's substance, so give thanks that it is continually showing you unlimited source and supply!

And so it is!

Abundance Meditation #4:

From Spiritual Economics, by Eric Butterworth (p.128)

You can learn a helpful lesson from the lowly oyster. He is normally a very placid fellow, but occasionally little grains of sand work their way inside his shell and begin irritating him. Naturally, he tries to get rid of them. But when he discovers he can't do this, he settles down and produces one of the most priceless and beautiful things in the world. He turns the irritation into a pearl. So, no matter what the difficulty, the loss, the financial adversity; if you are feeling negative, get busy pearling.
Why not pick out the most difficult thing facing you right now and say: I know this is the best thing that could happen to me, for I know that in the happening there is revealed a new lesson to learn and some new growth to experience. I know that within me is an unborn possibility of limitless potentialities, and this is my opportunity to begin to give birth to new ideas, new strength, and new vision. I accept the reality of the difficulty but not its permanence. I am not at the end of anything. I am simply between opportunities, between jobs. I know that in the movement of "it has come to pass," something wonderful is on its way to me far surpassing anything I have ever known before. And if I should feel the slightest irritation of fear or anxiety, I will say to myself, "All right, let's get busy pearling."
