19th Annual Sleep Cheap Charities Reap Event and Reservation Dates Announced

NIAGARA FALLS, ONSleep Cheap Charities Reap, a long-standing community tradition has raised almost $2.3 million for nearly 100 different local charities since its inception in 2004.

Room Reservations
Sleep Cheap 2022 will run for five nights, from Sunday, November 20th through Thursday, November 24th. Reservations for the event can be made starting Friday, October 14th at 9:00 a.m. Participating hotels and booking information can be found online at sleepcheapcharitiesreap.com.

Many of Niagara Falls’ finest hotels offer rooms, at a discounted rate, to Niagara Region residents only during the event. Donations for rooms are as follows: $65 per night for a standard room, $75 for a Fallsview or whirlpool room, and $125 for a waterpark room. Participants will also be able to book two night stays again this year.

The Charitable Donation Application Process is now open!
The Sleep Cheap Charities Reap Committee is seeking applications from local charities and registered not-for-profits serving residents of the City of Niagara Falls interested in receiving a donation from funds generated by the annual, “Sleep Cheap Charities Reap”, initiative. Charities should be aware that we receive far more requests than we can support at one time, and that a decision not to support does not necessarily reflect on the merit of the request.

Application forms are now available at sleepcheapcharitiesreap.com. Please note that the application deadline for charities is Friday, November 25th, 2022.

The 2022 recipients of the charitable donations, as selected by the Sleep Cheap Charities Reap Committee through the application process, will be announced in December. 100% of the funds raised through Sleep Cheap benefit local charities.

About Sleep Cheap Charities Reap
In 2004, then Councillor Jim Diodati initiated an event to celebrate the City’s 100th Anniversary and promote goodwill between the tourist industry and the residents of the City of Niagara Falls. Sleep Cheap Charities Reap took the concept a step further in 2005, supporting some of Niagara’s most deserving charities. The event provides an opportunity for Niagara Falls residents to experience some of the City’s most prestigious hotel properties and attractions for a fraction of the cost, and the proceeds are donated to local charities.
