Dear Family and Friends of Boonton UMC,
 
            It is with a heavy heart that we share news of the passing of Beverly Gillaspie, who was a member of our church and an incredible blessing to our surrounding community for countless decades. Beverly was the wife of Terry Gillaspie, who passed shortly after I started serving here at Boonton UMC in the summer of 2018, whom she married in our church sanctuary in 1982. There are many memories and milestones Beverly and her family have had in our church, and we are grateful to be able to celebrate her life together this Saturday at 3pm in this space that has meant so much to the family. Her ashes will be placed in our columbarium in a separate special inurnment service at a later time.

Beverly was a woman who loved deeply. As a gardener, she not only tended to plants in her garden, but tended well to all who had been planted in her life. She was a woman who asked every morning, "Who can I help today?" And we pray that her life may be an inspiration to us all.

She was a woman deeply connected to the Vine, to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and whose family, friends, and any who were crossed paths with her at any point in her life were able to thrive and blossom all the more because of her presence in their life.

We hope you can join us this Saturday at 3pm if you are around and availble to celebrate the beautiful life of this beloved saint, and we ask for your prayers for the Gillaspie Family, the Bidlack Family and all others who mourn with us this day.
