Dear Colleague,

I'm delighted to invite you to join us for the VIRTUAL 2022 Global Parliamentary Forum on 10 and 11 October 2022, as part of the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank (Agenda Here).

We now live in the age of the shock wave. As the world recovers from Covid we face spiralling food and fuel prices, rising interest rates, challenges to debt sustainability, rising levels of violence and fragility and ever more extreme weather as our climate heats. So it's vital that we as Parliamentarians intensify our dialogue with the Bretton Woods institutions - and each other.

That's why the theme of this year’s Forum is “Innovative Solutions for Turbulent Times” and is focused on food security and climate finance.

The meeting will be an opportunity for parliamentarians to share experiences and best practices with senior management and experts from the World Bank Group & IMF.

Sessions will be held in English, French and Spanish. I invite you to confirm your attendance by clicking on this link https://form.jotform.com/222074153967358 and filling out the online registration form.  For further information, please contact  jpo1@parlnet.org or parliamentarians@worldbank.org. Alternatively, please respond to this email and I will send you the invite links and further information. I have attached the programme to this email.

Membership to the Parliamentary Network is open to all parliamentarians serving an active mandate.
