Community Engagement Kicks Off for the Fall Term
In celebration of National Hispanic Heritage month, the board of Alianza Latina invited Lennon Wolcott-Hernandez to speak about her journey to represent and reclaim her culture through art. Andover Alumni Volunteer Summit Welcomes Alumni Back to Campus
Featuring events like Alumni Council Committee meetings and options for breakout sessions including tours of campus or the Addison Gallery of American Art, the 2022 Andover Alumni Volunteer Summit last weekend welcomed back alumni from a multitude of graduating classes. Click here to read more about the summit over the weekend.

Andover Boys Soccer Guard Undefeated Season, After Sweeping Taft and Bridgton Academy
Andover Boys Soccer remains focused on the season, especially after winning against Taft and Bridgton Academy. According to Alex Torrens '24, the team hopes to keep its sparks alive for the upcoming games. After playing with low energy in the first half against Bridgton, everyone was able to pick up the pace and score a goal. Still, Torrens hopes to continue with this vigilance onto the next game. Click here to read more about Boys Soccer's season so far.

Underclassmen Lead Girls Cross Country at Manchester Invitational
This week, Andover Field Hockey suffered their first loss in nearly two years againt Tabor. But they were able to make a comeback against Governer's. Co-captain Shea Freda '24 hopes to work on ball movement on the field, as well as position chemistry for the players. PAFH hopes to continue with a postivie attitude for the upcoming games.  Click here to read about Girls Cross Country's season so far.

World-Renowned A Cappella Group The Whiffenpoofs Comes to Andover for “Hometown Concert”
The Yale a cappella group The Whiffenpoofs visited Andover on Friday night to perform and lead a masterclass. The group came to Andover as part of their hometown tour. Click here to read more about group's performance at Andover and future plans.

First Coffeehouse of the Year Overcomes Technical Difficulties with Supportive Audience
The first Coffeehouse of the fall brought new talent and exciting musical performances. Throughout the show, the performers did struggle with a few technical difficulties and faulty cords. Click here to read about Andover's first Coffeehouse this year.

Core Blue: What Else is New?

Jaeho Lee '24 and Sebastian Cynn '24 discuss the lack of novelty and clarity Core Blue carries and how best the administration should proceed to create change. They argue that while the effort put into the process is evident, much of the language is redundant and vague.
