At the Friday Oct. 7 assembly, Mr. Dykxhoorn spoke about the difference between thanksgiving and gratitude. The first is a feeling, the latter is an action. Our prayer is that each one of us may experience and practice gratitude throughout the Thanksgiving weekend and into the rest of the year!

LEARNING DIALOGUES
These will be held in-person at TDChristian from 3 to 8 p.m. on THURS., OCT. 20. in the PRESENTATION CENTRE and some classrooms.
Below are the steps to register for these seven-minute discussions with parents, guardians, teachers and/or students:
- Go to https://www.schoolinterviews.ca
- Click "Make a Booking" in the top right corner
- Enter the code "3m429"
- Follow the instructions to book a time to meet with each of your child's teachers.
- For each child, you may book up to eight Learning Dialogues, but the normal number is four.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
- Last minute VOLUNTEER opportunity take your family to the Woodbridge Fair on Oct. 8, 9 or 10 and tell others about the thrift store. Contact paul@firehallthrift.ca.
- Interested in PRAYING for TDChristian (and earning parent/guardian volunteer hours)?
- Join Ms. April Merson and at least five others for 30 min. Wednesday night Zoom sessions beginning on Oct. 12 at 8 p.m. Contact April by Edsby message or email TDCHprayer@gmail.com.
- Join Ms. Karen Milley and at least one other person for Friday morning Zoom sessions beginning on Oct. 14 at 8:30 a.m. Contact Karen by Edsby message.
