The EU Bioeconomy Conference will take place on 6 and 7 October in the Charlemagne building in Brussels and will also be held online and streamed so, participants from all over the world are welcome. Our Founder, Jukka Kantola, will be joining the conference as a speaker in the 8th Session focusing on "International Dimension of the bioeconomy."


The conference will present the findings of the EU Bioeconomy Strategy Progress Report, adopted in June 2022 and highlight the role of bioeconomy policy to enhance policy coherence and system thinking. There will also be a focus on bioeconomy success stories from EU research and innovation. Explore bioeconomy success stories and join the discussion about the next steps in EU bioeconomy policy action!

The World BioEconomy Circle is a networking platform for the stakeholders of the circular bioeconomy to learn from each other and enhance the circular bioeconomy. The Circle is related to the World BioEconomy Forum® and the members are entitled to join programmes arranged by the Forum.

For the members, World BioEconomy Circle organises its own assemblies called “Insider Insights”. Their occasions and events are arranged as per Chatham house rules to keep the communication confidential among the members and enable dialogue on evolving issues related to the circular bioeconomy.
