アレイン・マドレ
Alayne Madore

長年の間、DMIの働きに献身的に携わり、DMI日本の理事も務めたアレイン・マドレさんが９月２３日に召天しました。私たち皆にとって大きな喪失ですが、イエスを愛し、人を愛し、多くの人に仕え、またDMIをここまで導いてくれた彼女の人生を覚えて主を褒め称えます。引き続き、アレインのご家族の慰めのため、またDMIのこれからを覚えてお祈りください。
Alayne Madore, who had been involved with DMI since its very early days and had chaired the DMI Japan board for many, many years, passed away on September 23rd. Though we miss her very much, we praise God for her life. She showed a good example as a Christian who loved Jesus and people, and who served with a servant heart. Please continue to pray for her family for their comfort and also pray for DMI.

コンゴ共和国のベニにある中等学校が完成したことを感謝します。学校とそこに集う人たちが守られるようお祈りください。平和とは程遠いこの国で、この学校が安全な場所となり、光の道しるべとなりますように。
We give thanks for the completion of the secondary school in Beni, DR Congo. We pray for protection over the school and all of those who come on to the grounds. That the school will be a safe place and a beacon of light in country that far from peaceful.

ケニア Kenya

ろう者への愛にあふれ、自分ができる方法すべてを用いて、喜びをもって支援くださっている北尾キャシーさんを神に感謝します。キャシーさんがケニアの学校に新しく設置された図書室と、それに伴って始まった読書プログラムも感謝します。今後、学校の隣に新しい土地を購入し、生徒の食料となる作物を栽培することができるようにお祈りください。
We give thanks for Kathi Kitao and the way she has such a heart for the Deaf, always ready and willing to help in any way she can. We give thanks for the new library she has set up in Kenya school and the reading program that has now begun as a result. We pray for provision to buy the new land next to the school so that crops can be grown to feed the students.
