Power of Pie

Power of Pie, the Visiting Nurse Association’s most beloved and most delicious event is back! With 100% of the proceeds benefitting the organization, this grass roots event has raised over a half a million dollars since its inception. The idea of Power of Pie was born of the idea that pie is a truly special thing. It stands out amongst practically all other foodstuffs as a symbol of comfort, home, and family, especially during Thanksgiving.

Now in its 10th year, Power of Pie’s goal is to sell 2,000 pies and loaves of bread and raise $50,000. For $25.00 a pie and $15 for pumpkin bread, families have a way to experience some of the best baking North Texas has to offer, with 100% of their pie purchase going to provide comfort and care for seniors in our community.

How can my company get involved?
1) Pie production
2) Ingredient donation
3) Sponsorship

Please contact Robin Plotkin at 214-725-3947 or plotkinr@vnatexas.org to find out how you can be involved in the Power of Pie event.
