Collection Plate
The PCC met last week and decided it was the right time to start passing the collection plate through the congregation again. It will be done in the following way.  The side person will bring the plate to the front of church and it will then be passed by the congregation along the chairs to the next row until it reaches the back of church.

Also there will be cards placed on the chairs to represent offerings given by standing order, which you can place on the plate as it passes you if you wish.

Janaki’s visit
Thanks to all who contributed to the retiring collection for Janaki when she was with us.
We were able to give her £320 for which she was very grateful.

Tuesday 1st November 7.30 – 9pm

Where do you spend your time Mon – Sat?
At work, the gym, walking the dog, the coffee shop?

How can we show and share Jesus’ wisdom and love with the people we meet in the places we usually find ourselves?

We invite you to an evening talk with speaker, author and mission champion, Mark Greene.
This evening is especially for Christians who are seeking to share God on their frontlines in their everyday, ordinary living.

Book your place by clicking here

Tickets are priced at £5. We don’t want anyone to miss out on this opportunity so, if you require a subsidised ticket please email sayhello@harrogatehub.org

Can you help?

Please see the following appeal from Richard and Gill Mcintosh.

I’m sure many will remember Francis and Elaine Wainaina and some will be aware of the loss of their tandem/gear in Rome.  As you will see, we are hoping to raise some money towards a new bike/kit.
We have publicised this amongst St Mike’s members in York but of course Francis and Elaine were much loved at St Andrew’s too.
If you would like to donate, follow the link below:

He leaves Croatia on Monday evening. Pray for a good journey back.
