St. Barnabas Episcopal Church
McMinnville, Oregon
Where your name is known and your soul is treasured.

Masks are now optional for in-person worship.
The Blessing of the Animals also includes...
bringing new stuffed animals (tag still attached) for donating to Juliette's House. From Juliette's House
websiteJuliette’s House is a Child Abuse Intervention Center (CAIC) that for 20 years has provided service to Yamhill, Polk and surrounding counties of northwest Oregon. Each year, 150 to 200 children are referred to Juliette’s House, usually by Child Protective Services, law enforcement, or medical providers for evaluation as a result of suspected sexual abuse, physical abuse, serious neglect, exposure to drug endangerment, or exposure to domestic violence.

Each child that comes to Juliette's House gets to choose a new stuffed animal for their own to love. St. Barnabas asks that each of us brings a new stuffed animal (tag attached) to the altar on Sunday where they will be blessed to be a blessing to the children. Please help in this endeavor.

And if you are looking for some place to volunteer and do some wonderful ministry, check out

LAST DAY! Join with other St. Barnabas folks in "Getting to Know You!" As we grow in community, we grow in knowing one another; our stories, our dreams our hopes. Please join us in this wonderful event by signing up to be a part. You may pick up a form in the narthex to complete; or click here on the link to go directly to the letter and form. You will be notified of who you are to “get to know better.” Talk to Vestry member Katrina Jones if you wish to know more. Join in as we grow our beloved community in strength, knowledge and numbers.

It's only two days away! We need your prayers for Monday, October 3, when after 2 1/2 longggggg years of only serving "to go" meals, we will welcome our guests back inside the Parish Hall for inhouse, sit-down, restaurant dining.  Please hold in prayer our guests, volunteers and our Operations Manager Robin.

We still have some "holes" in our volunteer schedule, so if you would like to volunteer or to learn more about volunteering, please use the contact information below. And consider organizing a group (family, neighbors, colleagues, club members) to volunteer on a regular basis. It's fun serving with others.

Volunteers needed Monday thru Friday:
- Morning session, 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Kitchen prep, set tables, etc.
- Afternoon session: 3:15 – 6:30 p.m. Serving guests, clean-up.
There are many ways to sign up to volunteer.
Use this
link to complete the online form; call 503 472 3711 and leave name and contact information or email SK@stbmac.org
Getting out into the world...Volunteers needed in our community!

Please consider volunteering with the children in our community? It will lift your spirit and help the younger generation become outstanding adults. Check out Juliette's House; CASA; See Ya Later Foundation and see if you can offer your gifts and wisdom to the young people of our area. And yes, there are other organizations in the area who help children and youth; let me know your favorites!
