Happy Thanksgiving!
As you all already know, inflation killed our Thanksgiving turkey plans.  May I suggest a Thanksgiving beef roast?

After almost 15 years of raising my own meat, I've gotten pretty good at cooking nearly any cut. Until recently, however, I lacked confidence when it came to preparing a beef roast. Over Labour Day Weekend I decided to conquer my fear and cook roast beef for a crowd. I'm happy to say I've discovered the secrets to success, and I'm here to share them with you!

FIVE STEPS TO ROAST BEEF PERFECTION
Bone-in Ham
Here's another option for a very special holiday dinner...  For the first time ever, we've got bone-in hams! Curious why you might choose a bone-in ham over a boneless ham?  Here's a good article explaining the benefits of each.  Enjoy!
We've been getting rave reviews on all our new sausages, especially the hot dogs! These are perfect to have on-hand around the holidays when you never know who might show up.  They are sure to please everyone from the gourmet grandma to the fussy fiance! Except for vegetarians.  Can't help you there...

Intensive Rotational Grazing Field Day

Along with Farm Folk City Folk, we are hosting an intensive rotational grazing field day at our farm.  This event is geared towards farmers interested in improving their grazing practices, but anyone who's interested in spending a few hours nerding out on soil health, electric fencing, and animal husbandry is welcome!  The event is on October 25th from 10am- 2pm, with a light lunch to follow.  The event is free, but pre-registration is required.
