The Raven's Call Delivery Update
How do YOU want to recieve the Raven's Call?
It's a challenge getting the news out to everyone. One of the things that makes it hard is that we can only send this email out to folks who sign up for it using our subscription form.
Most years, that means that some folks get the news and others don't.
This year, we are trying something new.
This year, Principal Stowell is going to help us reach more families by sending a link to the weekly Raven's Call Newsletter out to all Eagle Staff Families.
When you recieve that email, the link will take you to this, exact newsletter.
This means that those of us who are already subscribed will get the newsletter two ways. Once, directly in your inbox, and once as a link from Principal Stowell.
If you do not want to recieve them both, you can opt to recieve only the link from Principal Stowell.
To do that, just unsubscribe from this newsletter using the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the page.

Be a Part of Robert Eagle Staff's PTSA!
Today!
We have a wonderful year ahead and we'd love for all families, students, teachers, and staff to join us!
When you become a member of Eagle Staff's PTSA you will be part of a powerful and collective voice for the children in our community. In return, the PTSA will be a relevant and helpful resource for you, keeping you informed and connected to our families, the school, and our community. Volunteering is not required as a member, however, being a PTSA member does give your family a voice and a vote during the general PTSA meetings. The plan for this year is to have a mix of in-person and virtual general meetings.
Memberships are $15/person. Click here to join!
Membership scholarships are readily available and so easy to request, just send a quick email to: membership@eaglestaffptsa.org No questions asked, and no details beyond your name and email are needed.
The Eagle Staff PTSA Board sends a great big THANK YOU to the 102 members (and counting!) who have already joined. It's going to be a fantastic year and the PTSA is so proud to support the students, teachers, staff, and families in our school's community.

RESMS Care Cart & Closet
Ravens supporting Ravens
The Raven's Care Cart and Closet is a selection of school supplies, hygiene items, and household essentials for RESMS families in need. Students are given access to Care Cart each week, along with food support from our partners at Family Works.
The Care Cart and Closet are stocked with donations from our generous Raven families and small business sponsor, and are available to our social worker and counselors to meet identified student needs.
Each Friday, our Amazon Wish List is updated with our top needs.
This September, our emphasis is on school supplies to get all our Ravens started with what they need to learn and excel at school.
The current top needed items are Composition Books (college- ruled); colored markers, tape, and highlighters. Families can drop these items off at the office or have them shipped directly to our family support coordinator at 751 N 75 th Street, Seattle, WA 98103.
Families wishing to support the program can also give to our designative Family Support Fund Here. This is a great option for folks whose employers providing matching funds and gives us flexibility to respond to changing needs.

2022-23 Program Fees
Fees due this Friday, September 30
At the beginning of each school year, we ask that the families of musicians all contribute a $40 program fee for the year.
These funds supplement districts funds and our fundraising efforts and help pay for activities including small group coaching, instrument purchases & repairs, sheet music, instrument reeds, strings, oils, transportation to performance trips & competitions, a t-shirt for each student, and more. During remote schooling last year, these funds also paid for digital software so students could collaborate on a musical platform.
Please use this PayPal link to pay the annual program fee. Our goal this year is 100% participation! Please help us meet this goal by paying the program fee by September 30.

Did You Know Scouting isn't Just for Boys?
Due by September 30
Where can girls (and other non-boys) go if they want to backpack 50 miles, learn to treat a broken leg, survive overnight in the wilderness, train to safely shoot a shotgun, and sleep in a snow cave they built themselves? Or make new friends while becoming leaders among their friends and community? Or even earn the rank of Eagle Scout?
Troop 681, thatโs where.
Troop 681 is an inclusive Scouts BSA (formerly Boy Scouts of America) troop located in North Seattle and is currently looking for new members. 6th graders and up are welcome to come check us out. - www.troop681.org
