Tip of the Week

Halloween is only at the end of the October, but why not to have Halloween-themed activities throughout the month? Here a few nice tips for you to enjoy the spooky season with your little ones:
  • Get spooked during a scary movie night with your favorite family Halloween movie. The options are limitless: witches, ghosts, monsters or other creeps...
  • This classic should not be missing. Hollow out a beautiful orange pumpkin and carve a funny face into it. View all pumpkin farms in the Kop van Noord-Holland!
  • Do you have a little LEGO master sitting at home? Then it's time for a LEGO Halloween challenge. Who will build the scariest haunted house?!
  • Now that it is getting dark earlier, you can go out for a dark walk after dinner. Don't forget to admire the Halloween decorations of other houses along the way. How many pumpkins can you spot?
  • Spend an evening watching the moon like a real werewolf. Tip: the next full moon starts on October 9.
  • Decorate the house and front yard with a Halloween theme. The scarier the better!
  • Greetings from the monster! Make scary Halloween cards with the kids and put them in your neighbours' mailbox.

COVID-19 Updates

Almost all restrictions have been lifted; however, coronavirus has not gone away. Visit the government website to know what COVID-19 rules are still applicable in the Netherlands.

Since September everyone aged 12 and older will have the opportunity to get another repeat of vaccination (second booster), which can be obtained from 3 months after the last jab or a previous infection. If you have questions about the vaccine, visit the RIVM website.
