We are launching our Eastbourne Listening
Tour: 15th to 30th October 2022

For two weeks from the 15th October, Healthwatch East Sussex will be engaging with residents, community groups and professionals across Eastbourne to learn more about their experiences and views on health, care and wellbeing.

We are focusing on ‘meeting people where they are’ and will be visiting a wide range of organisations and locations across the Borough so that we can hear as many voices as possible.

Our goal is to learn as much as we can and use this information to identify local issues and priorities that we will share with decision-makers.

We want to hear your story!

Join our Launch Event: Saturday 15th October, 10am to 4pm

Our Listening Tour will kick off with our Launch Event at The Foundry in the Beacon Shopping Centre, right in the heart of Eastbourne.

The Mayor and Mayoress of Eastbourne will officially launch our Listening Tour at 10.45am.

We would like to invite you to join us at the event, which will include:

  • Free health checks provided by ‘One You’ East Sussex
  • An Information & Signposting Clinic to help with your health and care queries

  • An exercise bike ‘challenge’ with a £10 voucher for the winner

  • A conversation café and survey station where you can tell us about your views on health and care

  • A marketplace of local health, care and voluntary sector organisations

The Big ‘Health and Care’ Question Time: Eastbourne Town Hall - Thursday 27th October from 6pm – 8pm

We have drawn together a panel of key health and care decision-makers to hear your views and respond to your questions in person.
