People around town have noticed the new Tesla super chargers being installed at Due West in Olema. Apparently they will, at some point, be available for all available electric vehicles, not just Teslas. I hope that's true.

  • Last week, the Tomales Bay Watershed Council secured a $249,000 California State Coastal Conservancy grant to cover the design and environmental review of a project targeted at filtering and diluting the unhealthy water behind Chicken Ranch Beach in Inverness through an expanded tidal wetland adjacent to the beach.   • The unified command charged with removing the American Challenger from the rocks north of Dillon Beach has run out of funds, suspending its operations and leaving the decaying boat stranded once again after months of recovery efforts. (PRLight w/ paywall)

  • The Point Reyes Farmers Market takes place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Toby’s Feed Barn. Bob Culbertson plays music on the outdoor stage at 9:30 a.m.
  • Saint Cecilia’s Annual Rummage Sale takes place today from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and continues tomorrow at the church (450 West Cintura Avenue) in Lagunitas. Housewares, art, jewelry, tools, books, toys and plants for sale. Free coffee for shoppers on Saturday.  
  • The Bolinas Museum shows two new exhibitions “Pacific Rise: Ocean Health” and “Laurie Mahan Sawyer: Seeing the Unseen,” with artist talks by Keith Hansen and Laurie Sawyer at 2 p.m. and an opening reception from 3 to 5 p.m. The museum is open from 1 to 5 p.m. on Fridays and from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The exhibits show through Dec. 31.
  • An opening reception for an exhibit of pastels by Kate Blakeslee takes place from 4 to 6 p.m. in Toby’s Gallery. The show runs through Oct. 30.
