During the course, we will be using a virtual exhibition platform for some instruction! Please join this special session using the metaverse. This will also give you a test session as to how to join the upcoming World Nuido Virtual Exhibition.

After the registration, you will be receiving the Zoom link and virtual space link.

-All Phase X and above stitchers are welcome to join.
This monthly class aims to encourage advanced stitchers to bring their ongoing projects and deepen their skills with JEC/Kurenai-kai certified professionals. Crowdfunding for Virtual 2022 Nuido World Exhibition

If you are a Nuido member and a stitcher, please upload your embroidered design for a 2022 World Exhibition Virtual Exhibition from this link. You can submit more than one design and we will select the relevant photo.

This October, we are planning to hold an exhibition to share Nuido, the way of embroidery, which has the potential to move people's hearts in Ginza, Tokyo. However, it is also true that most people will not be able to attend due to the current situation happening in the world. This is why we started the Zoom classes and it made it possible to overcome such trials and has been quite successful to produce gorgeous embroidery pieces! This crowdfunding is to make people possible to view the Nuido World Exhibition virtually from the internet. Kurenai-kai and The Japanese Embroidery Center inc would like to ask you to participate in this crowdfunding to make this happen!

By participating in this crowdfunding, you will receive rewards such as The Nuido World Collection Vol. III (If participated in Pine plan and above)

And postcard of not-for-sale Hokusai Phoenix (If participated in Bamboo plan and above)

Please keep in mind that the rewards will be shipped to you after the exhibition is ended (Beginning of November 2022) and make sure to keep this crowdfunding separate from other orders unless you don’t mind.

We will also engrave your name on the list of contributors as we did for the Online Learning Crowdfunding.

We were born and raised in the Kurenai-kai workshop established by our grandparents. From the time we were born, we were surrounded by many apprentices in addition to our families, and our grandfather taught us how to embroider along with our siblings for as long as we can remember.

We were attracted by the rigor of embroidery, which cannot be done overnight, and the charm that emerges from it, and I am now struggling to spread Japanese embroidery to as many people as possible.

What we find most attractive about Japanese embroidery is that it moves people's hearts.

We have seen moments when Japanese embroidery opens up various possibilities for people and places. At Japanese embroidery productions and exhibitions, we see a wide variety of smiles and emotions, from elementary school students to people reaching 100 years of age, transcending gender and race.

On October 12 - 16, 2022, we will hold the "Embroidery Way World Exhibition" in Ginza and exhibit the "Fractal Project," which will be created together with many people from all over the world, in the hope of communicating the appeal of this traditional Japanese culture and the potential of Japanese embroidery to as many people as possible.

We believe that the essence of Japanese embroidery lies in "the heart that thinks of others. At Kurenai-kai, we have always valued this, and have focused on creating embroideries that support disaster and other affected areas, as well as exchanges with people from other countries.

Through Japanese embroidery, which has the power to cheer, heal, encourage, and support people, we hope to expand our circle of exchange with people from all walks of life. We hope that you will join us in supporting the "Embroidery World Exhibition.
