Ever wondered how you might be a more active part of the Redd family organization? Now is your chance to explore where you might fit:
Research.
If you’d like to work with documents or DNA research Tom Brown would be happy to put you to work! Plans to get over to England in 2023 to track Redd origins are underway. You don’t have to be an expert in either of these fields to be helpful. Contact our director of research Tom at tnmbrown@gmail.com to find out more.
Reunion.
Helping with the organization of a Redd Reunion is a fun way to get to know some of your relatives and see why it matters that we stay connected. If it hadn’t been for our reunions we wouldn't have made the progress of breaking through Redd brick walls. Seems crazy, but if you plan it "they" will come. And that means breakthroughs! Contact Paul Redd at pcredd@msn.com for opportunities.
Communication.
Stay up on all the family happenings by communicating them to the rest of the family. If you have a knack or even a desire to work with social media we need you. We also need help to get our this newsletter. It isn't hard to learn and is actually rather fun. Contact Jan Garbett if you are interested at jan@reddfamily.org.
Volunteers help in other ways too, like with design, technology, or simply with their connections and time. Whether you live near or far from Spanish Fork, Utah or Onslow County, North Carolina, video conferencing, calls, and email allows the work of our volunteer team to be more easily accomplished. We'd like to include you as an active participant in our family organization today! Contact Paul Redd, Redd Family Organization President @ pcredd@msn.com, to discuss what you might do to help with our family history efforts.

Here are two Redds we couldn't do without:

Landry Redd volunteers as Treasurer of our family organization. Expenses for reunions are many, but during the in between time we continue to have financial obligations such as web and licensing fees, genealogy database accounts with Family Tree DNA, and Ancestry that gives us access to ever-expanding digitized records as well as genetic advances.
Becky Beck, chair of our Audit Committee, is a professional accountant who not only reviews our records but files necessary documentation to keep us in compliance with government regulations. Since the Redd Family is an official charity, or 501c3, we are thrilled to have both Landry's and Becky's expertise to help us maintain and report our financial records timely.

Let us add your name to our team. Contact Paul, Tom, or Jan today to discuss your interest and availability. Your family both living and dead will be grateful!
