Service Update for Tomorrow

The deacons have designated this Sunday, October 2, as “Bring Your Own Rake” Sunday at CPC.

Along with milder temperatures, Hurricane Ian left a lot of oak debris on the church property. In the spirit of community, we will suspend our Sunday school classes tomorrow so that we can spend the time raking and gathering. It promises to be good for the property, good for the deacons and good for our fellowship together.

We understand that not all will be able to help, and that is okay, as always. Some of you are no doubt exhausted from cleaning up your own mess. But those who can, feel free to wear jeans or shorts, bring a rake and plan to join in.

Our regular Sunday schedule will resume on October 9.
