Here's what's new with the library this week.

Evening Book Club

Wednesday, October 5 at 5:30pm • Lakeport Library
The monthly Wednesday Evening Book club will meet this week to discuss The Foundling by Ann Leary. Please stop by and join the discussion! Also available will be the next months selection for pick up: The Last Coyote by Michael Connelly. The Friends of the Lake County Library make sets of book club books available through the library. You can view book club books available on our library catalog.

Holiday Closure
All branches of the Lake County Library will be closed Saturday, October 8 to observe Indigenous Peoples' Day. Normal hours will resume on Tuesday, October 11.

Garden Book Club
Tuesday, October 4 at 10:00am • Online
Monthly on the first Tuesday. Read and review all the new gardening books while sharing your own gardening tips and techniques.

Walking Group
Thursday, October 6 at 8:30am • Lakeport Library
Weekly on Thursday. Start your day on the right foot! Meet at the Lakeport Library for a one hour group walk.

Chess Club
Thursday, October 6 at 2:00pm • Middletown Library
Pick up some new chess techniques and then engage in some friendly competition for all ages.
