TOWN & GOWN PLAYERS PRESENTS Timelapse: Musical Theater Through the Ages

This Second Stage production is an original show, written by local drama teacher Hannah Eppling. Timelapse looks at the history of Broadway through the eyes of a former Broadway performer and her granddaughter. The audience will enjoy Broadway favorites from the early 1900’s to today. Performance numbers include tap, jazz, bellydance, and more! This show features the youth and adult musical theater companies from The Studio Athens, and several of their adult dance companies. This production features a wide variety of dance and performance styles and highlights the talents of youth as well as adults. From Oklahoma! to Six the Musical, there is something for everyone in this show!

Timelapse is presented by T&G with performances held October 21 and 22 at 7 PM and October 23 at 2 PM at the Athens Community Theater (115 Grady Avenue, Athens, GA 30601). Tickets are $5 for Adults and free for season pass holders. Tickets can be purchased online at www.townandgownplayers.org or in person at the box office.
We are looking for ushers and box office help for the upcoming performances of Timelapse. To attend a Town & Gown performance, all volunteers must provide proof of vaccination, with the final shot occurring 2 weeks before the performance they wish to attend. Also, you will need to wear a mask while indoors. We also need someone to help with walk up ticket sales. If you need a refresher on the training please let us know.
Please note that signing up to volunteer will earn you a free complimentary pass, good for one year for any T&G production! We thank you and look forward to working with you again!
