Voting is already hap pening! Absentee ballots have been sent out. Early voting begins in just 17 days!
Remember that my name is the very last one on your ballot, on the second side, just before the two Buncombe County bond referendums. (I like to think of it as being 'the last, best hope for Asheville.' 😉) Please tell your friends to save a vote for me!
We've been working hard to reach out to voters all around our city. Check out my report on how we spent a busy September!
PLEASE HELP ME REACH OUT!
There are three things you can do today that will make all the difference to this campaign:
- Tell your friends about me. I know it's awkward, but lots of your neighbors pay little-to-no attention to local races. They'll welcome your recommendations for their City Council vote. Word of mouth is the most valuable asset for my campaign. One great way to let your neighbors know about me: host a yard sign!
- Volunteer. We want to have people at every Early Voting site in the city to greet and inform voters about my candidacy. Poll greeting is actually fun (really!), and we'll give you the training and the campaign lit you need to persuade folks before they enter the polling place! We also need folks who'll enjoy the adventure of knocking on the doors of likely Tovish voters! Email Campaign Coordinator Cheryl Orengo to get started!
- Donate. Yep, moolah. The green stuff. Casharama-lama-ding-dong. Now's the time! Social media ads and campaign literature are pricy. If you can afford to chip in, I promise I'll put it to good use. Donate today via ActBlue.
