Protection International releases its
2021 Annual Report

In the midst of the second pandemic year, economic downturn, the continued rise in authoritarianism and worsening impacts of climate change, our teams, partners, donors and supporters rallied together and stood by our mission to support human rights defenders (HRDs).

We advocated and worked alongside HRDs and partners...This is core to PI’s operations and in our collective protection for the HRDs that are doing all of the heavy lifting in pushing forward transformational change, even given the extraordinary risks and devastating setbacks."
