For the first time since we started C&C in 2018 (mark your calendar - we'll be celebrating C&C's 4th birthday on October 19!), I missed our gathering two weeks in a row! First, I was traveling and last week, I had a cold that squeezed my voice into a raspy whisper for just that Wednesday.

(Also: A cold! After 2.5 years of covid precaution, to get a cold has felt charming and surprising. My mom and I keep saying to one another, "Oh yes! A cold is like that!" about various symptoms.)

Thank you to Susan, Charlie, Alice, and Anthony for showing us what community is and does yet again!
