/ INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION STRATEGY FOR LONDON
Published today, the International Education Strategy for London, with its focus on different provider types and important regional nuances, is intended to help London play its role in the wider UK international education ecosystem to the best of its abilities. The Strategy outlines a number of recommendations directed at the UK Government, the Mayor of London and London higher education institutions, as well as a series of recommendations based on different provider types.
You can find our press release on the London Higher website.

“London often acts as a gateway to international students and researchers wanting to engage with British higher education and is home to a diverse range of globally renowned higher education institutions.

At London Higher, we have worked hard to provide a strategy that will complement the national International Education Strategy and will ensure that our capital keeps delivering for the growth of the country.

We want to work with the government and our closest stakeholders to maintain the UK’s global competitiveness and attractiveness to international education markets through the advantages that London’s higher education sector has to offer, for the benefit of the entire nation.”

/ INTERNATIONAL NETWORK

London Higher’s International Network, Chaired by Professor Mary Stiasny and Nina Davies has played a huge part in delivering the International Education Strategy for London. The International Network convenes colleagues from across the membership to collaborate and campaign on issues where the internationalisation of higher education and London intersect. It aims to maintain, and build upon, the reputation of London as the world’s top university city and, in doing so, elevate the international student experience and academic reputation of London institutions.
