IMPROV IS BACK

VOLUNTEERING WITH THE THEATRE DEPARTMENT

You are already doing SO MUCH. As a parent of an actor or tech specialist, you are already facilitating all of the work we are doing. You are helping by making sure your child attends practices and giving them rides from afterschool. You're listening to them practice that same song … again. You are reading through scripts and helping as your actor practices and memorizes lines. You're on the first line of defense when it comes to wardrobe malfunctions and stage fright. You're the shoulder they cry on when they struggle and you're the one giving them flowers when they succeed on an opening night.

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU ARE DOING TO SUPPORT THIS DEPARTMENT!

You are already helping in tangible ways and the students couldn't do any of this work without your wonderful care and support. Volunteering is not a parent requirement. We know you are busy, need to set boundaries, and can only help so much.

The show must go on, and we do depend upon parent support, so we’re launching a regular newsletter that will highlight the extra ways (big and small) that you can help to grease the wheels of this well oiled machine. Volunteering builds community and strengthens the program for all of the students We appreciate you and we thank you for being willing to volunteer in the ways you are able.
