District 7750 Foundation Celebration & Dinner
Join us at the Hilton at 5:30PM on 11/18.

Join fellow Rotarians on November 18th as we celebrate the extraordinary work that we are doing through The Rotary Foundation. This annual dinner is in our club’s backyard, and the Rotary Club of Greenville is the Presenting Sponsor. Greenville Rotarians have a rich and admirable history of supporting The Rotary Foundation. We are consistently the top-giving club in District 7750, and we are a major supporter through our Foundation of the good work being done in Haiti and Honduras.
There is much to celebrate at the Foundation dinner during our club and individual awards. The keynote speaker will be Larry Lunsford, a trustee and vice chair of The Rotary Foundation. He is a powerful and inspirational speaker

9 - Trivia

What is the amount of money that Rotary International President, Jennifer Jones, pledged to the commitment of eradicating polio?

Answer in next week's newsletter.
Last weeks trivia: When is the Rotary's Celebration for World Polio Day 2022?
Answer: World Polio Day is October 24th. And this year, Doug and Sally Kauffman of the Greenwood Rotary Club will match every gift of $100 or more given to PolioPlus by individual Rotarians up to $30,000 for the District.
Every Rotarian who gives $100 or more will also receive that many Rotary Foundation Recognition Points. If you make that contribution online or over the phone with the Rotary Support Center 866-976-8279, you will double your Recognition Points up to a maximum of 600 points. (example: a Rotarian contributes $100 to PolioPlus through their club, they get 100 points, but if they contribute $100 to PolioPlus online or by phone, they get 200 points).  PolioPlus giving does count toward a Paul Harris Fellow recognition.
