The John E. Sabga Foundation
The John E. Sabga Foundation is a non-profit foundation started in Trinidad and Tobago. The Foundation honors John Edmond Sabga who died at the age of 56 in January 2017 after a valiant 10-month battle with pancreatic cancer. The Foundation aims to raise awareness about pancreatic cancer to the population of their island. One way they do this is by bringing world-renowned experts to Trinidad for their annual "Distinguished Lecture Series." The John E. Sabga Foundation also aims to raise money for research into a cure and early detection. To date, they have sent over $650,000 to various doctors and research facilities in the USA to aid in these efforts.

The 2022 Annual Meeting Has Begun!

Thanks to everyone for joining us last week for Day 1 of the 2022 Annual Meeting! We were proud to say we kicked-off this year's meeting with an impressive turnout:

80 participants
17 different countries
631 total interactions among attendees
An average of 11 new connections started among attendees

We also enjoyed seeing everyone yesterday at the Regional Breakout Sessions, where they learned more about developments in pancreatic cancer care from some of the world's leading experts. Our final meeting date will be 6 October on Remo, beginning at 8PM GMT (networking will begin at 7pm GMT), where we will preview the 2022 WPCD Campaign and brand new video as well as celebrate our first WPCC Annual Award winner!
