Hi <<First Name>>,

The milk cows are back to grazing! It got so dry in August that I put the cows on hay for feed. Thankfully we got an abundance of rain in September and the pastures bounced back with some amazing growth.
One interesting thing I've noticed over the years is that late September grazing is similar to the early spring grazing. The grass is fast growing and rich. Not only do the cows love it, but it turns the milk a beautiful creamy color. If you notice the milk is more yellow than usual, it's because of the lush fall grass the cows are on. Enjoy!

Apparently I messed up with Maples due date. I expected her to have a calf already but it's looking like it's going to be a couple more months. So that means there's less milk than I was planning on right now. Honey and Brown Sugar are producing well though so we do have enough for everyone that currently signed up for the subscriptions.

Onward,

Jordan Winters
