I'd like to invite you and your students to attend a special presentation by the Deans and Directors of Admission of all five federal service academies. This is a rare opportunity to understand what each of the academies share in common, how they differ, and how career opportunities in the Navy, Coast Guard, Marines, Air Force, Space Force, Merchant Marine, and Army vary.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to connect with Admission staff and current cadets and midshipmen to hear their perspectives, and learn about admission processes.
This event will be hosted on Zoom for three hours:
--Service Academy overview
--Deans and Directors remarks, Q&A
--Breakout sessions with the academies
If you advise students who are thinking about applying to the service academies, or just want to learn more, please attend this event.
The next virtual workshop takes place on Thursday evening, October 20, 2022.
Sincerely,
The Joint Service Academy Workshop Planning Team

Will applying for financial aid hurt your chances of admission?
How are family responsibilities valued, if at all?
Is writing a creative essay a big risk?
Does the college process begin junior year?
If essays and interviews are optional, should they be ignored?
Is volunteer work a non-negotiable?
If I get a few low grades, are my chances of admission ruined?
Are supplemental essay questions less or more important than the main personal statement?
Is it better to take easier classes and get a higher GPA?
