The event will include a book exchange -- bring a book and take a book from our collection -- and will feature live presentations and performances on the main stage, including:
Dr. Laura Kray is an expert on the role of gender stereotypes and mindsets on workplace behavior, including negotiations, leadership, and ethical decision-making. Her work has been supported by the National Science Foundation and has been recognized with multiple best research awards from the Academy of Management and the International Association of Conflict Management.

Laura will be presenting newly published research on gender differences in social sexual behavior in the workplace, which has been featured in various outlets including the Haas Newsroom, Fortune, and SHRM.
Afraz Khan is an MBA student at Haas with an interest in racial justice and corporate social responsibility. He enjoys writing and performing poetry, rap, and spoken word and has been invited to perform at various universities, protests and open mics. Much of his work is inspired by his lived experience as a South Asian Muslim American and child of immigrants.

Afraz will be performing a rap highlighting the struggle to reclaim his story and the disconnect between the history taught about this country and the actual events that shaped his Indian heritage under British colonial rule.
DJ Leo is a professional DJ based in the Bay Area. What started as a hobby in college has grown to become a lifelong passion. He believes that music is a universal language that brings people together. Throughout the years, Leo has used music to bring people together in 15 different states performing at universities, ceremonies, and performances to simply name a few. His enthusiasm and professionalism have enabled him to establish strong community ties all over California.
