Happy Homecoming Week!
Homecoming Week 2022 is in full swing. Join in on the festivities and participate in the various Homecoming events throughout the week. This afternoon festivities will also take place in downtown Hammond for Railroad Roar, the biggest LionUp Tuesday of the year, with food specials, live music and more.
Gumbo YaYa, an annual campus favorite, will take place tomorrow, Oct. 5, in the Student Union Breezeway from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Homecoming festivities will culminate Saturday with tailgating in Friendship Circle, a parade through campus, and the football game vs. Texas A&M-Commerce where the Homecoming King and Queen will be announced and crowned during halftime. Tomorrow marks the end of Term I classes and the semester midpoint of the regular semester. Fall Break will take place next week on Oct. 13-14.
