Call for Board Nominations
The Nominating Committee for the Greater Vancouver ACMP Chapter is seeking candidates interested in running in the fall election to replace outgoing Board roles. Please send us a note at admin@acmpvan.com if you are interested in learning more. Deadline: October 28, 2022. The new board will be announced at the 2022 AGM in November.
Update: Mentorship Program
In summer 2022 we completed our second mentorship program and gathered feedback from the 4 mentor/mentee pairings. Feedback received showed that all participants, whether mentors or mentees, thought the program was really beneficial and enjoyed working together. Given this was the same response to the pilot it seems like this program should continue!

After reviewing the feedback, we have identified a few changes to the program. These include:
  • The program will be open to any ACMP Vancouver Chapter members who would like to be supported by some of our advanced practitioners
  • The Expression of Interest process will start in November 2022 rather than December, as this is sometimes a busy month for people
  • There will be an opportunity for a 6-month or a 12-month commitment to the program, as some participants felt a longer program would be beneficial.
Thanks to Anson Leung (who coordinated the program this year and will do so again in 2023) and to all our mentors and mentees for their feedback as we continue to establish this program.

If you would like to be a mentor, starting January 2023, please let us know. If you are interested in being a participant in the mentorship program look out for how to apply in November 2022.
Blog: The Power of Case Studies in Change

During the last Advanced Practitioners Presentation session in September, Lee Anne Davies shared how she rapidly improved the change capabilities at Central 1 Credit Union using the techniques of applying mini-case studies. If you missed the session, read the blog HERE for a recap.
