Oats are one of our favorite kitchen staples that we wouldn't want to live without! 
We love adding them to our protein waffles, in our cakes and cookies, making milk out of them, or adding them to our protein shakes.

You can never go wrong with them! 
But did you know that they have many health benefits too? 

Here are 10 facts you probably never knew about oats:

  1. They lower your blood sugar levels
  2. Provide antioxidants and are a great source of vitamins and minerals 
  3. Promote healthy bacteria in your gut 
  4. Help you to feel full and to manage your weight
  5. Eases constipation
  6. Relieves skin itching and irritation
  7. Lower cholesterol levels 
  8. Regulate blood sugar 
  9. Help you to sleep better (they contain melatonin and complex carbs)
  10. Enhance your athletic performance (they’re a great source of carbs and protein)
